Hi can anyone suggest a decent router as my old dlink seems to be on the blink and i think its time for a new one .I need one that plugs into the phone line and can cope with my 360 ,wii.itouch and 2 laptops connected to it

Hi I use a NETGEAR ADSL2+ modem router DG834v4 I have x box +3 computers connected to it not had any problems,and plugs into phone line,cost about £50 maybe cheaper now

yup recommend the above, pretty decent price as well but they can run hot at times. http://www.ebuyer.com/product/52244 for latest version.

I got mine from Maplins Electrical you can also get them at PC World,Comet

In a web browser, enter the router's IP address - either http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 by default then enter details to login and you should be able to navigate through settings to find desired info.

May i ask why you need the mac addy for it?

As for other comments above Maplin will have it yes but check prices first as maplin are notorious for adding an extra few bob compared to elsewhere.

its for my m8 hes modem has ****** up and wants 2 check the mac address and ip address
