Been told they are crash and overgrown from the original cod4 and will cost 1200mp. There are threads on the xbox forums with links and more info.

Apparently theres going to be 5 maps in the new map pack but heres the intresting bit, two of the 5 maps will be updated versions from COD4. However, I'd rather play 5 brand new maps than play Bog or Overgrown with lilttle tweeks.

I think I remember reading something along the lines of 1200MSP.

I don't mind if they redo some of the old maps, think it might be a good thing because it may lead to the people that haven't played COD4 to buy that game as well, lol.

Plus, I am surprised at how quick they're releasing the new maps, considering the game only come out in November.

I think they know that people will be converted to BC2 because of how good the online play is in that game (not played it online, but does look really good).

I might get the maps on my 22nd birthday, not too sure yet.

Nacoh beat me to the punch, but I'll post information that I have come across:

Details on the upcoming Modern Warfare 2 map pack that launches on Xbox Live on March 30th have been few and far between so far. Thanks to an early listing on Xbox.com though, we know now what we can expect at the end of the month.

The Xbox.com Marketplace listing states that the "Stimulus Package" will add 5 new map packs to the popular multiplayer title; 3 brand spanking new ones and 2 "legendary fan-favourites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare."

The listing states the following:

"The Stimulus Package delivers 5 additional action-packed multiplayer maps featuring a variety of locations: "Bailout," a multi-level apartment complex; "Storm," an open industrial park littered with heavy machinery; "Salvage," a snowy junkyard fortified by stacked debris and crushed cars. Two legendary fan-favorites from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare return, including "Crash," a war-torn urban environment; and "Overgrown," which features a massive dry creek bed."

5 new maps is sure to please Modern Warfare 2 fans who may be suffering from "mapathy" and it's pleasing to see that the map pack will include 5 new maps, rather than the traditional 3 that seemed to becoming the norm.

All we need now is a price.
