White knight chronicles

Postby Gillette 73 on Wed Mar 10, 2010 5:20 pm

Once you get right down to it, enjoying White Knight Chronicles involves a hell lot of farming. All that synthesizing and item hoarding will definitely need financing, and money doesn't grow on trees - they grow on monsters. You can repeat quests over and over to stash the cash, but it can get pretty redundant. Fortunately, Sony and Level 5 are backing it up with new free quests every week until June.

Starting tomorrow, March 11th, login to PSN, launch White Knight Chronicles and you should see those new quests right on the world map. There will be a new permanent quest every week, but there will also be limited quests that will only be playable for two weeks. Be sure to follow the PlayStation Twitter account to keep up with those.

If you really can't get enough of the game, login between 5PM PST on Friday, March 19 and 11:59PM on Sunday, March 21 to qualify for a prize drawing where you can win a 12" White Knight figure.

I got this as i am a big fan of the developers (level 5) as they made one of my favorite RPG's of the PS2 "Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud chronicles".

Graphically it's a mixed bag if you compare it to say Final fantasy 13, but there are some vistas in it that are truly stunning. It is your basic RPG fare but must admit at the moment I am liking it. But I should give it more attention as to be honest addicted to BFBC2 and Yakuza 3.

Let's just say I havn't slep much this month.

I couldnt get into white knight at all.

I found the battle sustem really slow and boring. It was like you would pull of this brilliant move but then it all stopped as you had to wait for that circle bar to refill before you could attack again.

I can see why people would like this game, but it wasnt for me at all.

this game is awesome, battle system not too bad once you remove all single attacks and build combo's, u can get some pretty nice numbers out of them. Love the old school rpg gameplay mixed with new age graphics plus the ability to go round recruiting NPC's for your own village is great, adds more depth to it.
